Benefits of Grab Hire for Waste Removal:

  • Capable of removing up to 16 tons of waste (the equivalent of 2 x 6 yard skips) in one load, cutting both cost and valuable labour time

  • Removes large volumes of waste where skips are limited or inconvenient

  • No need to organise permits, lighting or signage for skips that need to be left on the public highway

  • Loading directly onto the lorry avoids the need for costly additional machinery to move waste around the site

  • The impressive 7 meter reach on our grab lorry crane means we can remove waste from hard to reach places such as over fences and walls.

  •  We can deliver loose and bagged aggregates such as Sand, Type 1 and Soil at the same time as we remove your waste, saving you time and reducing the need for additional lorries on the road.

  • Driveways and space will not be blocked and out of use for long periods of time - our Grab Lorries can be loaded by our experienced drivers  in approximately 20 minutes.

What Waste Do I Have?

Below you will find our guidance table for the most common types of waste we are asked to remove and the categories they generally fall into. It is worth remembering that there are times when materials fall into more than one classification.

A good example of this is when grass/greenery is mixed within soil. The 'green waste' content of the grass would render the soil no longer 'inert', making it more expensive to dispose of - Why? Consider the temperatures a compost heap can reach as plants and grass decompose under pressure. Because of this it needs to be disposed of carefully to prevent any adverse safety or environmental factors. As waste can be so varied, we're always happy to offer advice, so please contact us if you require more information.
